BuzzFeed - "From the studio that inexplicably sewed his fucking mouth shut the first time, comes five-time Academy Award viewer Ryan Reynolds?" The first footage from Deadpool ? the R-rated adaptation of the Marvel comic book starring Ryan Reynolds as the titular mutant anti-hero ? debuted on Saturday at San Diego Comic-Con. The audience loved it so much, they vocally demanded en masse to see it again. It's easy to understand why: The trailer â which Fox does not have immediate plans to post online due, in part, to music rights clearance issues â is exactly the bracingly irreverent breath of fresh air the self-important superhero genre desperately needs. That irreverence comes directly from Deadpool himself, or more specifically, the unbroken string of self-aware, profane pronouncements that gleefully spew from his mouth.
